Patriots WR Randy Moss
The New England Patriots ended 2009 on a horrible note, getting lambasted by the Baltimore Ravens at home in the AFC Wild Card Game back in January. Most of the blame fell on the apparent softness of the defense. Many of the holes have been addressed through the draft, as first round pick Devin McCourty from Rutgers is making a case to start at cornerback. Despite his lackluster performance in the last preseason game vs. the St. Louis Rams, McCourty has been solid in camp in the preseason, and could bring a physical presence that that Pats have lacked on the outside for quite some time. Yard House - Dedham, MA
Let us add another restaurant to my list of places to visit! The Yard House is a premium casual eatery known for its extensive menu, classic rock music, and world’s largest selection of draft beer. Each Yard House location features a center island bar and an endless fleet of tap handles ranging from classic lagers to more obscure ales. The friendly and attentive staff, atmosphere, music, award winning selection of beers on tap (over 100 types of beer on tap) and exquisite American Fusion Cuisine are what tie this fine establishment together. I had eaten at this restaurant originally when I was on vacation in Florida, but when I heard they were expanding to Massachusetts in Dedham, MA; I knew I just had to make a reservation. Located down the street in the newly constructed Legacy Place Mall, it is just minutes away from my humble abode.
The glass-enclosed keg room is essentially the pulse of the operation housing as much as 5,000 gallons of beer at a time. Three to five miles of individual beer lines stretch overhead from the keg room to the island bar maintaining a constant temperature of 34-36 degrees keeping the beer consistently fresh and perfectly chilled for every pint. Infiniti G25
With the economy being as unpredictable as ever, there has been a demand in luxury car circles for options that are a tad more economical in nature. Infiniti has answered the call, as the brand-new Infiniti G25 Sedan is slated to hit dealerships for the fall season.
The Infiniti line-up is set to expand this September with the introduction of the G25, a new entry-level sedan packing all the amenities of its bigger brother, but with less power and a budget-minded price tag. [click to continue…]

Red Sox OF Ryan Kalish
The Boston Red Sox were essentially spectators at the trade deadline rather than a buyer or seller. Team management believes that the solutions to the teams woes – bullpen, not enough offense from OF – can be addressed with solutions that are internal. They began with addition by subtraction. LF Jeremy Hermida was designated for assignment, and RP Ramon Ramirez was shipped to the San Franciso Giants for minor leaguer RP Daniel Turpen.
Hermida was hitting just .203 at the time of his designation, and had been an absolute butcher in the field, botching numerous routine plays. Ramirez, who was acquired from Kansas City for Coco Crisp after 2008, had a 4.46 Era in 2010, falling well below the expectations he had set in the first half of 2009, when he was very reliable.
In Hermida’s place steps outfield prospect Ryan Kalish, who was called up Saturday just before the 4:15 start at Fenway. Kalish, who had 13 HR and 25 SB between AA Portland and AAA Pawtucket got his Major League career to a good start, as the 22 year old went 2 [click to continue…]

With the US economy being as volatile and unpredictable as ever, one can often wonder what steps are being taken by luxury automakers to help consumers “stop the bleeding” so to speak. Infiniti however, seems to be one brand that is ahead of the curve, as there are rumored to be plans for a luxury hybrid model. Joel Arellano from automotive.com has the scoop:
More than a few consumers and auto journalists were disappointed when General Motors announced that, at least for now, it was putting its Cadillac Converj program on hold. The Converj would have been the luxurious sibling to the upcoming Chevy Volt and its range-extender engine. Nissan Motors recently released pricing details of its Leaf electric vehicle. The Leaf is considered a rival to the Volt despite their differing engines and transmissions. Now Nissan plans to release a version for its Infiniti luxury brand. [click to continue…]

Here at Infiniti of Norwood, we are enjoying the success of the current 2010 G Series. The G37 Sedan and Coupe have become a giant hit and are making their mark at the top of the industry’s luxury standards. The popularity of the G Convertible, which debuted last year also continues to grow. But what does the future look like for the Infiniti G series? Auto journalist Joel Arellano of automotive.com speculates…..
The Infiniti G Line
The Infiniti G Line is on a roll entering the 2011 model year. Following extensive enhancements for 2010, including refined exterior, interior and equipment refinements, sales continue to show strong growth. Through June, G Sedan calendar-year-to-date sales have increased more than 28%, while G Coupe sales are up more than 33% for the same period. Expect the momentum to continue as all three G models — Sedan, Coupe and [click to continue…]

Struggling Red Sox RP Hideki Okajima
During their current West Coast road trip, the Boston Red Sox need for bullpen help has never been more present than it is right now. While the offense has been silent lately, help is on the way as Victor Martinez will be back this week, Jacoby Ellsbury is on a rehab assignment, and Dustin Pedroia isn’t far from coming back. There are no such reinforcements in sight internally for the Red sox.
Following Hideki Okajima’s horrendous performance yesterday – 2/3 IP, 5 H, 2 ER, 1 inherited runner scored, and a blown save – one would think that a move would be coming very soon. Okajima’s outing, combined with Manny Delcarmen’s brutal outing on Thursday – 4 batters faced, 0 outs recorded, 2 H, 4R, 1 BB – against the Seattle Mariners, the worst hitting lineup in the American League at a .233 batting average -has made the bullpen a priority at the trade deadline. A Great Read by Eugene O'neill
So, I recently read Long Day’s Journey into Night and wanted to give you a little taste of the book. The book features a recollection of the past. Eugene O’Neill created this play using real life learned experiences from his own family to create this timeless play. In this play, O’Neill creates the Tyrone family and gives the reader a walkthrough of merely one day of the family. This one day however, seems to give us what feels like a lifetime of information. In this play, we see denial, addiction, unfaithfulness, prostitution, uncertainty, and overall utter dysfunction. The future and present seem to be out of sight as Mary, James (referred to as Tyrone,) Edmund, Jamie, and the house cleaner Cathleen are constantly reminiscing on the past… [click to continue…]

Linguini and meatballs A Must
On my anniversary with my girlfriend of three years and now fiancé, I wanted to take her to an authentic Italian restaurant, local to Norwood. So, after numerous inquiries with customers, friends, and of course good old Google reviews played a role in my decision, I made my reservation at Joe and Maria’s. Joe and Maria’s is a small intimate corner spot located oddly enough next to The Chateau (A great family Italian restaurant for the price) and is built into the Hampton Inn located at the base of the hotel. The restaurant seats roughly forty people in the dining area and ten at the bar. We walked in and were seated by none other than one of the owners, Maria. The restaurant was started by husband Joe and wife Maria in 1991. Since the start of the family’s restaurant, they have been serving up quality Italian food. Paul Mancuso, the chef and youngest son of Joe and Maria, has created a menu that will expose your palette to the delicacies of northern and southern Italy.
Once seated, we were introduced to the wine list, as fresh bread and an herb/garlic oil was placed on the table. With an extensive wine list, we were very ecstatic, as wine is a fundamental must, when it comes to enjoying the true Italian experience… [click to continue…]

Red Sox RP Michael Bowden
As the July 31st non-waiver trade deadline approaches, the Boston Red Sox have their share of needs to fill. What are those exact needs, and who are the players that could potentially fill these roles? As the Red Sox threaten to fade down the stretch, here are the problem areas that need to be addressed, as well as some possible solutions.
Leftfield
Synopsis: The Red Sox have been able to get by with what have been essentially Triple A players, but the holes in the lineup are starting to catch up with them, as evidenced by the last series at home vs. the Texas Rangers. Leftfield is traditionally a power position, and as of this moment, there is not much power being generated from this area. [click to continue…]
