Infiniti MA of Norwood will have product specialists on hand to answer any questions that you may have regarding the completely revamped QX.  The complete redesigns of the exterior, as well as the improvements under the hood are sure to spark many questions that we will be more than happy to answer.  This vehicle is a completely different experience from its previous incarnation and is certain to impress!

There will also be live entertainment.  The X Isles, a local calypso band will be on hand Thursday to sooth you with steel drums and their smooth Caribbean style. 2011 Infiniti M

The 2011 Infiniti M has created a lot of buzz here at Infiniti MA of Norwood.  We are also happy to hear that it is also getting rave reviews from the community of automotive critics.  With a completely revamped body and numerous exciting features, the sky is the limit for this luxurious and artistic piece of machinery.  If you haven’t had the chance to see it or take one for a test drive, it is certainly a breathtaking experience.  We hope to see all of you here on the automile soon!

Or, as the seven other luxury brands are happy to point out, dead last. For the 2011 model year, though, Infiniti has put to bed the last-place second-gen M and pulled out from under the covers a third gen that is more stylish, more powerful, more fuel-efficient, and more technologically advanced. As you can tell, it’s got more of just about everything, a fact that will no doubt make it a formidable participant in the next shootout. But until we can amass another luxe-sedan showdown, let’s examine whether the 2011 M truly has the goods to be great.”

“The M remains among the leaders in active safety technologies, with the industry’s first blind spot intervention (BSI) system added to its repertoire of driver aids. BSI gently nudges you back should you try to make a lane change with another car hidden in your blind spot. In a quick test of the system, it worked unobtrusively but is easily overridden or turned off should you be in the mood to pit-maneuver yourself into someone else’s car. We think it’s great. BSI, that is, not the suicidal pit maneuver.”

“Among Infiniti’s goals in the M redesign was to smooth out and sharpen up the suspension. Owners have carped about Infiniti’s harsh ride, especially on cars equipped with sport suspensions and/or larger wheels. The changes underneath the M basically stiffen the links laterally for better corner tracking and body control while employing new bushings to help isolate bump frequencies. The result is a large sedan that moves fluidly through corners with well-connected steering—especially when equipped with the optional four-wheel-steering system—but remains quiet and vibration-free as a luxury car should.”

2011 Infiniti G25

The most exciting aspect of the new G25 is that it will also allow the company to extend its brand to a wider and perhaps younger customer base.  Many younger car buyers who have seen the advertisements for Infiniti during March Madness will be sure to inquire about what sort of offerings would cater to their car buying needs.  Look no further than the G25, which is expected to be more powerful than the Lexus IS250. 

The G25 sedan will be powered by a naturally aspirated 2.5L V6, which is an engine currently used in the JDM Skyline 250GT, instead of the  3.7L V6 that is installed in the current G line.  Under the hood of the Skyline, which is Nissan’s G offering in Japan – this engine produces 210 horsepower and 195 lb-ft of torque. This is close to what experts project the G25’s engine to produce.  Those numbers put it right in the middle of the lesser powered Lexus IS 250 and the BMW 328i, which has 230 horsepower. The initial plans for the G25 are that it will only be available as a sedan. However, if sales are strong enough the coupe and convertible could also eventually be offered with the 2.5L V6.

2011 Infiniti M

The 2011 Infiniti M will be making its debut later this month at Infiniti MA of Norwood, and has undergone a massive transformation from the 2010 model.  The all-new M37 will feature a 3.7 V-6 engine with an extra 25 horsepower from the 2010 M35, checking in at 330 hp. 

For those car enthusiasts who crave even more power, the 2011 M56 brings a 5.6 liter V8 engine and 420 horsepower to the table, greatly eclipsing the 325 featured on the 2010 M45.  A seven-speed automatic transmission will now be available on both M models, which will feature better fuel economy from their previous incarnations. 

The exterior’s new look is a dramatic sports-styling with a lower front end and deeply sculpted fenders inspired by the Infiniti Essence concept car. The 2011 M has a much more curvaceous and flowing profile compared to the 2010 model. 

The 2011 Infiniti M will also have some excellent upgrades in safety and technology.  The all-new Blind Spot Intervention System will alert the driver to vehicles in the blind-spot area, and then actively assist the vehicle back to the center of the traveling lane.  This feature will be part of the Technology Package.

 Also another new feature of the technology package on the Infiniti M will be the Eco Pedal, which will provide resistance versus foot pressure on the gas pedal to encourage driving that is more economical for fuel consumption purposes.
